Hi there. I've a quick (maybe not so) question regarding invoicing. I've searched the forums and read every thread regarding invoicing and how it works and I can't seem to get it going.

I have created tasks in projects and checked invoicing=true on them. Then I go to the client view and click invoices and it just has an empty list with the edit, view and delete buttons (all 3 are disabled). Can someone please give me a push in the right direction on this feature?

to see the invoice you need to click on the invoices ID.

The invoicing side of things is something I will developing further for the next release, there are a few issues with it and it should not really be used in a production enviroment just yet howver any experiences/issues etc can be directed to me and if I can help I will but please don't bomb me with support requests. Hi,
How do you have 'Admin' setup? A lot of users find this side a little confusing, in order to make best use you should setup a client with your company details too. Try to think along the lines that the admin is responsible for the setup and management of the system NOT the internal running of it.

It may be useful if you wanted for me to see how you are setup as it may be simpler for me to send you a dummy sql file.

P.S the disabled icons can be for many reasons some of them not so obvious eg if you login as admin and then a user from the same machine you may get cookie/cache errors.

As far as how the admin is set up, I have the following. Let me know if this isn't the info you need.

I have an admin user. I only use him to create clients, change system settings, etc. I use a user with Project manager Admin privs for everything else. Although I can't see the invoice icon unless i'm logged in as admin. (i think that's normal)

Clients / Client Name / Invoices / Open | Sent | Paid

Invoices : Open

No items to display

What other useful info can I provide?

A couple of things in the invoicing side of things needs to be addressed. I currently run phpcollab v2.5 beta 3 and the only way to view invoices is through a small icon that you wouldnt know was thier unless you searched for it for hours because it blends in with the rest of them. Seeing as how the invoicing is going to be a major part of the app, we should add a link from the main menu to it. ALSO THERE IS NO ABILITY TO ADD AN INVOICE. ONLY VIEW INVOICES THAT HAVE BEEN AUTO_SENT. I still dont know how the invoices in my invoice section got thier, cause i didnt create them?

Firstly my apologies to herrin for the late reply, how the hell I missed your post for nearly 2 months is a bit of a mystery. Any chance that you can PM me also the same for nscryptd.com it would be useful to get some sql dumps from you guys (assuming you are happy to do this)?

I am looking for the same info. No invoice IDs are available to click on. The "Open | Sent | Paid" dont show any data. I looked briefly at the code and no answers yet. Invoicing overlooks Services as well. All I found is that putting data to database with current invoice button/pages creates NULL values in [prefix]_invoices.
