Please forgive me for asking such a dumb question, but I want to install phpcollab locally on my machine, but I can not find any instructions on how to do this? Can anyone here help? btw, I am on Windows XP Pro, but have phpdev running with Apache, PHP & Mysql.

Michelle,

I haven't installed it on an apache server on windows but I have on IIS. Its been at least a year, still running 2.4 on the windows box, but I believe I just went thru the same steps as the linus/stanrad install.

Feel free to PM me or post here if you come across any problems or questions. If you really get lost I can do a local install also to help walk you thru it.

Hi Jeff,

Well, in the install instructions, I am stuck here: - Unix/Linux: chmod 777 + chown apache "includes/settings.php" file, "files" folder and "logos_clients" folder - How do I do this locally? Also, I have already created the database and named it phpcollab, but when I try to go to the "installation/setup.php" page I am getting these errors: - Warning: Failed opening 'themes//block.class.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;C:/phpdev/php/includes;C:/phpdev/php/class') in c:\phpdev\private\phpcollab\includes\library.php on line 188

Warning: Unknown MySQL Server Host 'MYSERVER' (0) in c:\phpdev\private\phpcollab\includes\library.php on line 761
