Hi folks,
I downloaded phpCollab-xampp and tried to install. But nothing seems to go in my way.
Can anyone tell me how to install PHPCollab and what are the pre-requisities to install PHPCollab. When I click the start button of apache, msql after running xampp-control.exe, only the status of mysql is running. whereas there is no status for apahce.w@ to do. plz help me.
Thanks,
Sanjay.

Sanjay,
Glad to hear that you are giving the XAMPP-phpC package a try. Definitely keep us posted on how it works out.
As for getting it configured. When you extract the XAMPP-phpC package, there should be a PHPCollab_README!!!.txt file in the root directory. In that file are instructions for setting up the XAMPP environment and accessing phpC.
Take a look at it and let me know if you have any poblems and I'll try and assist however I can.
Good luck!
Jeff

Sanjay,
I'm assuming you rant the setup_xampp.bat file first?
Check the error.log in the phpCollab-xampp/apache/logs/ directory. That should contain any errors that happened while starting Apache.
Another option is to open a command prompt and change into the phpCollab/xampp directory and run the apache_start.bat from the command line and see if it shows any errors.
I just downloaded the phpCollab-xampp package from SourceForge and was able to run it.
Let us know how it goes and what your errors are if you get any.
Good luck!
Jeff
