I validated Michelle's table of contents and created (what I call) an outline of the Client Project Site. It is sparse and cryptic (I created it using a text editor) but I think it fully describes the functionality of the Client Projects Site. You can view it here:

Those interested can decrypt Wink

and walk through what I've described here - there are some omissions (can you find them?). I intend to press on with beginning the manual. The manual will add context and perhaps some guidance (short of being a tutorial) and I hope the end-product will be balanced and complete.

My optimistic estimate of a first draft by end of this weekend (it is Thanksgiving in Canada so I have until Monday) is probably not attainable but I will release what I have so that those interested can get a sneak peek. I'm sort of kludging my way through Docbook XML using the user-friendly XMLMind tool Michelle (Latristesse) suggested. Fun stuff!

Please see the team documentation - that explains the "project site" fairly completely from the viewpoint of a team member or project manager.

We have a basic Client Site manual that was created for one of our clients using PHP-Collab.

It has proven to be quite useful.

We can provide it to the client site documentation team to save them some time and actually get a working manual out there.

It has screenshots that are taken from our custom deployment and would have to be replaced, and some text refers to our company name. but is easily editable and do-able.
