So this is project now dead? It doesn't seem to have been updated in ages.

If it's no longer being worked on it's a shame because it doesn't make sense for people to use it when there's no improvements, features, bug fixes etc.

DotProject is far too complicated for me and I can't stand the 37Signals stuff.

If this project is dead can someone recommend something that might suits my needs a freelancing web designer?

JamesWright,

The project isn't dead. Smile

Actually, we are trying to get the last few bugs finished up so we can release v2.5.

Unfortunatly, the developers are all swamped with real life obligations that it has slowed the development down, I'm guilty of that as well. Crying or Very sad

You can start using 2.5rc3, its stable enough to work with. There might be a few minor bugs, that will be fixed in 2.5 final. I have been running 2.5rc3 for my clients and haven't had any downtime.

Thanks Minblender, that's good to hear.

I have installed it on my server and I was wondering about the phases.

Can I add different phases apart from CD and website, and can I add phases to the current two?

Can I subsribe to remote calendars such as my Google calendars?

Also, is there a way to import projects and clients from DotProject?

Yes, check the language file. Also, do a seach here for phases and there are step-by-step instructions.

Unfortunatly no. The only calendar available is the one built in.

Not to my knowledge. I haven't looked at DotProject but you might be able to export the data and import it back into phpc after some modifications.
