SmartCVS seems to be working but when I try to connect it gives this error:
I/O error while connecting to host cvs.sourceforge.net

any ideas?

Got it!

:pserver:anonymous@phpcollab.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/phpcollab

The above is the correct address. The address in the pdf is incorrect.

Hello testers,

I've just tried the last CVS version (checked out on August, 22nd) which is on my opinion stable enough to be advertized, tested and even used (on your own risk). Personally I'll put it very soon in production as I'm using an old 2.5rc3 modifed version...

I've written a CVS guide and created a videotutorial that explains you how to download the last phpcollab version from CVS. The guide is intended for who is afraid to use CVS or is afraid that it's to difficult. It's not. Just read the guide and watch the video here: http://phpcollab.wiki.sourceforge.net/CVS+checkout

Please give us feedback. If you find bugs report report them in the bug tracker here: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=46510&atid=4463 82

Thank you for your time and patience. phpCollab will come out faster if you help us testing it.

Sign me up to test this out. I am currently using PHPCollab 2.4 to manage our web design projects. My clients love it and so do I. Anything I can do to further it along and help it grow, I'm all for it. I can set up a sandbox on my domain mytestbed.com and play with the CVS version there. I'll report back what I find.

Afternoon - I have more than 3 pages of mixed documentation and changes that we need done to use the software in the future. It is a rolling list that has taken more than 3 months. Would it be helpful for me to ouline these modifications, field additions and features and post here? Thank you!

crocco: seems a very interesting list, but please post it in a new thread (this thread is more for us a list of testers and issues about getting the CVS version).

Please note that we can't implement many new features in the upcoming release 2.5. We focus mainly to release it as soon as it's stable enough (which means it can lack some nice new features, but on the other way, all the actual features should work flowlessly).

Your list could be very useful for a new release: 2.6 ... or 3.0.

If you have some specific BUGS of 2.5 CVS version, the perfect place to report them would be the bug tracker on sf.net (is unsure if it's a bug or an issue related to your insallation only: use the forums)

thanks for your feedback
