Hi everybody,

I would like to help testing the new PhpCollab. And, as I am Brazilian, I could assume the translation to Brazilian Portuguese, if it is desirable.

Feel free to contact me.

Best regards.

Additional info: http://phpcollab.wiki.sourceforge.net/Test+cases

Once you have completed any testing, please send me a PM with the detail:

explaining what you tested,

What OS are you using?

I'm installing the RC when I get up this morning EDT.

Here's the server info:
Apache version 1.3.37 (Unix)
PHP version 4.4.6
MySQL version 4.1.22-standard
Architecture i686
Operating system Linux

We have about 12 projects going ATM and about 30 users. The plan is to get this populated as quickly as possible. We will be utilizing almost every feature to the fullest. Great app BTW.

I would be happy to provide you with admin access so you can poke around if that would help you; just shoot me an email. I know crap about coding so that's about all I can offer. Maybe a video card if you're short.

Also, is there a bridge for integrating the user database with our existing vBulletin install?

One more thing- I'm going to have to make some changes to the team manual for my people that will be using this app. There are some places that are a little unclear.

If you like I can send in my corrections/additions.

Hi everybody,

I'm testing the CVS version (2.5) on a Debian Testing using:

- Apache 2.2.3-4
- PHP 5.2.0-10
- MySQL 5.0.41a-1

I'm using it with 2 more people and 6 projects. No problems until now... Smile

But there is a little problem on installation. If there is any permission problem and the PhpCollab can't create the configuration file, it prints a message that the creation was ok, but Apache prints, above, the message with an error. I guess it don't verify the possibility to save the file.

Best regards.

chmod 777
"includes/settings.php" file,
"files" folder
"logos_clients" folder

These are the three things that must be set to 777. Notice the top one is a file while the bottom two are folders.

ATi_Guy[TeamATI] & any others helping us test...

Please do not install RC3 for testing. Test from the CVS version. There are a lot of fixes in the CVS version that are not in the RC3 release.

If you need help downloading a copy from CVS, send me a PM and I'll walk you thru getting it.

thanks
Jeff

Only place I know to get it from is sourceforge.

Please tell me how to get it. If it makes it easier I can host it for others.

Watching this thread so I can get started.

My old CVS guide for windows post appears to have been lost. I'll try and re-write it in the near future.

For the time being, you can install TortoiseCVS and reference this document for help with checking out the project from CVS.

I'm also looking into creating nightly builds to help with testing. I'll keep you informed.
